Nancy Steenson, a graduate of Tufts University, was inspired to start helping high school students with the college admissions process after serving on her local school board. Her first goal was to advocate for academic rigor in the schools. As chairman, she realized that many students underestimated the admissions process, and parents assumed that overworked school counselors would be giving personal guidance to their children, which is rarely the case.

Nancy works with students by sharing underutilized strategies that help them distinguish themselves amidst thousands of applicants. She enjoys working with young people enormously, and takes great pride in helping them realize their full potential in the college application process. Although based in New England, she works with students all over the US. With her guidance, students have been accepted into very selective colleges and top programs in their field. She is a member of the New England Association for College Admission Counseling, and is an associate member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association.
