How UC San Diego is maximizing safety during COVID

We wanted to point to a very interesting thread by Kimberley Prather, a Professor of Atmospheric Chemistry at University of California-San Diego, explaining what her university is doing to make the campus safer. Steps include:

Mandatory vaccination – but this is just the beginning.

Focus on air filtration and high-performing HVAC systems.

Masks indoors at all time – “the virus can hand in the air for hours”.

“Testing is key” – Cheap testing constantly followed by tracing.

Wastewater testing for COVID to catch outbreaks as they emerge.

UCSD has created an FAQ on how to protect yourself.

Read Prof. Prather’s entire thread here.
